SARAH BETH ROOD landed the role of Kim in Oil City High School's Production of "Bye, Bye Birdie" to be performed March 2-4, 2004 under the direction of Steve Luxbacher.

BRIAN KONTES, BASS-BARITONE and former PA Governor's School for the Arts student, will be featured in Beethoven's Ninth New Years' Eve at St. John the Divine in NYC.

MICHAEL SLATTERY, TENOR and former PA Governor's School for the Arts student, will be the tenor soloist in Messiah with The Philadelphia Orchestra Dec. 14, 2003 at 4 PM and Dec.15 at 7PM. Broadcasting will be WHYY 90.9FM December 21st from 8-10PM.

ZACHARY LUCHETTE, BASS will be the featured soloist Dec. 21, 2003 at 10:30 am with the Butler Youth Consort, conducted by Tomislav Dimov at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Butler, PA. He will sing two recitatives and two arias from the Christmas portion of Messiah by Handel.

NATHAN MOHNEY, TENOR will sing the alto solos and the tenor solos with the New Castle Community Chorus in their concert of Messiah November 30, 2003.

NOVEMBER 17, 18, 19, 2003 will have Diana Walters in residence at Laurel High School in New Castle, PA with choral director, Kristen Franus.

COURTNEY MCNEELY was top soloist for Honors' Chorus concert Nov. 22, 2003 at Westminster College. The soprano sang "Alleluia" by Hummel.

YIPPEE! Diana Walters has just been notified that she will present two 10-day Artist-in-Residencies this school year. In October, she will work with April Micsky and the choir at Sharon (PA)Area High School and, in January, with David Barron and his choir at Grove City (PA) High School. The residencies are funded by The Erie Arts Council, PA Council on the Arts, and the school districts.

EMILY SINGS! Emily will be featured entertainment for the Pittsburgh Symphony Associate and the Symphony South's annual luncheon meetings on October 8 and November 18, 2003. She will perform 25 minutes of music, including arias, art songs, and musical theatre pieces.

FACULTY RECITAL JULY 11, 2003 in the Performing Arts Center of D'Angelo School of Music at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA for the PA Governor's School for the Arts will include, Diana Walters.
