Diana Walters has presented over 400 professional concerts and recitals, including numerous operatic roles, Messiahs, and staged productions of Solomon, Saul, and Elijah. She has premiered the works of the American composers, David Jex, Leroy Williams, Margaret Garwood, Thomas Romine, Ferruccio Germani, and Luke Mayernik.

She is the soprano in the duo, Tira Tutti, which presented a recital in NYC at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in 1999. She has sung, informally, in the theater at Epidaurus, Greece. In 1994, she sang in La Courneuve, France and was a soloist for the American Football Coaches Association National Conference in Dallas, Texas. She was invited to present a recital in Lingen, Germany in 1995. She opened Pittsburgh Pirates games with the National Anthem for 24 seasons.

Diana Walters maintains private voice studios in Grove City, PA and St. Louis, MO, heads Sing it! Productions, and has served on the faculties of many colleges and universities for 29 years. She has been the Opera Director and Voice Teacher at the prestigious, Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts since 1978. The soprano has been accepted in the Directory of Roster Artists for the State of Pennsylvania, available as an Artist-in-Residence in PA schools. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Summer Vocal Academy held at Sharon (PA) High School for gifted singers of Western Pennsylvania. She is the voice teacher at the Allegheny College Chamber Music Festival in Meadville, PA. She has conducted masterclasses in San Diego, MO, CA and in New York. She is an adjudicator with Straight A Tours in conjunction with Carnival Cruises.

Called "one of America's finest vocal pedagogues" by Mija Novich, Ms. Walters has taught students who have sung and won awards worldwide. She has students who are currently on Broadway and on the rosters of the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Opera. Her students have praised her techniques and methodologies which have contributed to their successes.

Ms. Walters earned her Bachelor's and Master's of Fine Arts Degrees in Voice from Ohio University where she is a charter member and Past-President of the School Of Music Alumni Society. She was a member of the Ohio University College of Fine Arts Alumni Society and served a three year term on the National Alumni Board. She was a winner of a Distinuished Service Alumni Award at Homecoming 2004.

She has served as President of the Tri-State Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and was a judge for the Miss America Scholarship Pageants. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota and Pi Kappa Lambda, music honoraries, as well as, the leadership honorary, Omicron Delta Kappa.
